Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Book Week

Book Week is a special time at our school where we celebrate a love of reading. Students take part in fun activities throughout the week and parade around the block in their Book Week costumes. We love sharing our events with the community!

Harmony Day

Harmony Day is a celebration of our cultural diversity - a day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home. At Blackalls Park we enjoy recognising the many cultures represented at our school and beyond, celebrating diversity, fostering inclusiveness, respect and connection.

NAIDOC Week

We hold events to recognise and celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Students are involved in hands on activities and engagement with local Aboriginal people and elders.
